Bespoke boats
Our long experience of building top quality narrowboats means we can
build in the traditional style or create a modern, simple style or anything in between
- the choice is yours.
Because every bespoke boat is different, with different equipment, interior layout, etc
we can't give fixed prices for a particular boat length until we have sat down with you
and agreed the exact specification for your boat. However, we would expect a 58 foot bespoke boat
fitted out to a high specification to cost of the order of £100,000.
Working closely with you, we will design a boat to suit your requirements - we can
arrange for you to visit one or two of our boats so you can get a feel
for a Darren Aldridge boat and discuss your design ideas in an appropriate
setting.
Typically, we use shells made by Colecraft Engineering Ltd, with a BetaMarine
engine and Channelglaze windows. However, we are happy to work with other reputable
shell fabricators and suppliers if you have particular requirements.
All our boats are built to at least the standard required for a Certificate of Conformity
under the EU Recreational Craft Directive and each boat comes with a detailed
Owner's Manual.
